Apresentação
Eric A. Antonelo is professor and researcher in the Department of Automation and Systems at Federal University of Santa Catarina since 2020.
He obtained a PhD degree in Computer Science from Ghent University, Belgium in 2011 (PhD thesis here) and a Master degree in Computer Systems Engineering with a major in Intelligent Systems from Halmstad University, Sweden in 2006 (Master thesis here).
His main research interests include: physics-informed nets, recurrent neural networks, agent/robot behavior learning, generative AI, and machine learning for modelling and control of industrial processes (oil & gas, etc.). (http://ericantonelo.com/research)
He is member of the Artificial Intelligence research group from EAS/CTC/UFSC and group leader of the Intelligent Autonomous Systems research group (GSAI).
